The old sign above the barn
Some of you may remember Tree’s Place before the fine art gallery was introduced. Stanley and Virginia Goldman opened a shop for handmade gifts in the old sea captain’s home at 60 Route 6A in the 1960’s.
Over the years, as the old sign above the barn advertised, it became known as a destination for beautiful things. Today, the second floor at Tree’s Place boasts a wide array of gifts and home accents, from Austrian music boxes and hand forged kaleidoscopes to local pottery.
We are proud to carry a wide selection of Simon Pearce glass, Laguiole cutlery, and Vermont Butcher Blocks. For little ones, we offer hand-embroidered baby blankets, carved wooden toys, and plenty of gift-able keepsakes. For the home, we have mirrors, accent tables, and tide and time clocks made by local artisans.
Whether you are looking for hostess, wedding, graduation, or baby gifts, there are quality items at every price range.
