The Chocolate Cape – Where to Secure Homemade Chocolates for Valentine’s Day on Cape Cod

Ben & Bill’s Chocolate Emporium is a small family of chocolate and ice cream shops in Massachusetts and Maine. We use family recipes that have been passed down from generations of candy maker. They rely on family recipes that have been passed down from generations of candy makers.

Located on Main Street in Chatham, it is open year round 7 days a week from 9 am to 5:30 pm. It was founded 60 years ago and still is owned by the same family.
The Cape Cod Chocolatier is a “family of chocolatiers’, handcrafting chocolates at 1600 Falmouth Road in Centerville. The kitchen opened 13 years ago. They indulge in Belgian chocolate.

Its chocolate is produced in small batches from fine-flavor, sustainably grown cacao beans at their Truro workshop. The owners believe in promoting sustainable agriculture and it has a direct trade relationships with producers to ensure their supply chain is ethical and environmentally sound.
It’s also a great place for ice cream.

- Cape Cod Red Brew Pop – malted chocolate ice cream, dipped in chocolate, Cape Cod Beer Peanut Brittle
- Truro Vineyards Cranberry Pop – cranberry ice cream, dipped in chocolate, Hole in One granola
- Twenty Boat Rum Raisin Pop – rum raisin ice cream, dipped in white chocolate, drizzled with Chequessett Chocolate
- Buzz Pop – espresso frozen yogurt made from the Art of Roasting’s Sumatra, coffee coating, and chocolate covered espresso beans
- Salted Caramel Pretzel Pop – salted caramel frozen yogurt, dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with local sea salt
Located on Route 6 in Eastham, the Chocolate Café serves homemade chocolate, truffles, pastries, gourmet coffee, espresso, hot chocolate, assorted bagged candies and fudge.

Both locations make and display an array of chocolates from truffles to fudge. They have a very dynamic online business.
On the Cape for more than 20 years, it makes gourmet chocolates, handmade fudge.
Its signature Osterville Selection includes two dozen truffles, cordials and creams in a box displaying a scene of Osterville’s main thoroughfare.
Started as a tiny shop in Eastham 25 years ago, it has become the hub of Orleans. Its candy making is right in the middle of the café so you can watch the chocolates and fudge being made all day long.
Thanks to Judy Viamari for recommending Nancy’s Candy Etc. opened in April 2011, in the “old post office” building in historic Dennis Village where Nancy continues to treat her customers to a selection of sweets, gifts and Etc. that appeals to visitors of all shapes, sizes and ages. She features homemade chocolates and fudge.

Located in the historic Jonathan P. Edward House, it opened in 1982 and still is owned by the family. Its famous for its cranberry cordials. It sells dark and milk chocolates, truffles, brittles and fudge.
