About the Museum

The mission of the Chatham Marconi Maritime Center, founded in 2002, is to engage, educate and inspire visitors of all ages and interests with the rich history of wireless communication on Cape Cod and the limitless future potential of science and technology to transform our lives. To further that mission, The Marconi-RCA Wireless Museum was established in 2010, in Guglielmo Marconi’s original 1914 Operating Building in North Chatham, MA. In 2014, an Education Center was added in the renovated 1914 Residence Building adjacent to the museum.
