Julie Bangert, an art consultant and freelance writer, is a Cape Cod native. She studied art history and architecture in Florence, Italy, before graduating with a B.A. in Fine Arts from Davidson College, North Carolina. She worked for several years in non-profit management and major gifts fundraising in Atlanta, GA, and Washington, DC, before turning her professional attention to her love of the arts. She has directed a nationally-known art gallery, curated more than forty exhibitions on Cape Cod and in Boston, and had original articles published in several national art magazines.
When she is not at her computer, she pursues her other passions -- teaching yoga and exploring the shorelines around her home in Orleans with her dog Maya.
