Wines, cheeses and meats can all be found at the market, with Truro Vineyards providing fresh wine, Fromage A Trois selling homemade cheeses, and Dave’s Ribs contributing Cape Cod’s smoked meat and spreads.
For those on a special diet, The Optimal Kitchen in East Orleans provides gluten free baked goods, along with Surrey Farms supplying organically and sustainably grown Brazilian vegetables. The needs of the avid coffee drinker are also catered to, with the presence of Cape Cod Coffee Roasters, who provide a variety of roasted and fresh brewed coffees.
But the market doesn’t just sell food; they also present other appealing goods. Homemade soaps, bath salts, and balms are supplied by Summer House Natural Soaps in Barnstable and Caroline’s Corner even provides quail eggs, a unique purchasefor market shoppers. The Orleans Farmers Market is located at 21 Old Colony Way in Orleans and is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. throughout July and August.
