Koko FitClub 30 for 30 Series: Made it to the Koko Leader Board
Luxx Cape Cod and Koko FitClub have partnered together to get fit. Over the next few months, we will be following Christopher through his journey on the Koko 30 days for $30 program, and see if it’s up to the test.
I swear I feel better and better about myself every time I leave Koko. Today I was on the Koko leader board for a bunch of different categories, but topped out at #1 for overall Q score, which is a measure of overall health. Wow! I’ll take it.
This is the stuff that keeps me coming here. The constant source of feeling good about yourself and your body, and the obsession I seem to be taking on to improve each and every day. You don’t get that at a regular gym. At most places, you come in, do your thing, wait for your turn to do the stair climber for 30 minutes, and then you say, “okay, I’ve done my workout for the day. Check that off the list” without any real gauge on if your workout was effective or if you actually DID anything to improve your fitness.
By a simple act of being on a leaderboard, I can see those results in real life. Different things mean different things to different people. But I think regardless that makes you feel pretty good about yourself.
So what’s next? To catch Joe Healy and his 112 miles traveled per month. Only 100 more to go!
