Wellfleet Bay Betsy Wildlife Sanctuary is offering a diversity of water cruises ih August that provide an intimate appreciation of the Cape’s marshes, inlets and the South Beach
Nauset Marsh Family Cruise
Enjoy touring scenic Nauset Marsh by pontoon boat. Catch some crabs, watch for birds, and explore the tidal flats with a dip net to look for snails and other animals. Program cost is $47 for adults, $37 for children; for Mass Audubon members, $37 for adults, $27 for children.

Chatham Seal and Inlet Cruise
Cruise the southernmost harbor in Chatham to learn about the shifting beaches, growing sandbars, and ever-changing inlets, including the most recent one that formed in the winter of 2014.
We will also watch for migrating shorebirds and seals. Dates & Times: August 14 (2-3:30 PM), August 26 (12:30-2 PM). Program cost is $60 per person; $50 for Mass Audubon members.
Family South Beach Adventure
Beachcomb along one of the Cape’s most beautiful and unspoiled beaches to search for treasures washed up by the tide and to look for seals playing in the surf. Dates & Times: August 20 (2:30–4:30 PM), August 27 (2:30-4:30 PM). Program cost $55 for adults; $45 children: for Mass Audubon members $45 adults and $35 for children
Marine Life Cruise
Cruise out of Sesuit Harbor in Dennis to discover what lives below the water. A naturalist will use a scallop drag, otter trawl and plankton nets to get close-up views of the many creatures living in Cape Cod Bay. Program dates and times: August 7 (6-8 PM), August 14 (6-8 PM), August 21 (6-8 PM), August 28 (6-8 PM). Program cost is $52 for adults, $42 for children; for Mass Audubon members, $42 for adults, $32 children.
