When Philip Geraci greets you within the glass walls of his Rectrix office at Barnstable Airport, you’re in for a hospitality treat. As guest services manager, he uses his welcoming personality and decades-long experience in the airline industry to provide consummate concierge services to those arriving on Cape Cod by private aircraft.

Whether people land in a single-engine plane or a corporate jet, they’re treated as very special Cape Cod arrivals.

“We’re a no-hassle fly zone, says Geraci, and we provide a multitude of services for convenient safe travel. In the industry, we are known as a Part 135 Air Carrier and a Fixed Based Operator (FBO) that takes care of all aspects of passenger and aviation needs for private air travel.” “After all,” he notes, “there are more private than commercial aircraft in the sky today.”

Rectrix service begins the moment the aircraft lands. Passengers can debark and step into their vehicles without entering the facilities. Those with flights in progress can relax in the comfortable Rectrix lounge, munch on a complimentary snack or freshen up in immaculate, stylish restrooms that have every amenity. Those who need to conduct business en route can reserve either the Zeppelin or Compass conference rooms. These meeting facilities are fully-equipped and offer a panoramic view of the airfields and hold up to fifty occupants.

Those departing from the Aerodrome leave their vehicles with Rectrix and can even arrange a car detailing while they’re away.

“Whether our guests are arriving or departing, what most of them have in common is that they want to come and go quietly, without being noticed, says Geraci. “You’d be amazed at the number of celebrities and high-profile folks who pass through our doors.”

Rectrix services extend to aircraft as well with management services. We offer discount jet fuel on all Rectrix operated aircraft, as well as catering, flight planning and ground servicing of aircraft. And of course, we offer indoor hangar storage for any size general aviation aircraft.

If you do not currently fly private, we can arrange jet charter travel and services through Rectrix on its Challenger 300 and Challenger 604 jets. These private aircraft each accommodate up to ten passengers and are outfitted with couches, leather seats, galleys, china and crystal, and movie screens.

Charter fees vary based on flight hours, destination and type of aircraft chosen. Rectrix Aviation received the highest safety rating in the industry; known as ARG/US Platinum, and we achieved IS-BAO Phase Two Certification. Although not household names, these rankings assure any traveler that safety always comes first at Rectrix.

“We make frequent flights to the Caribbean, Florida and of course Europe; or anywhere else in the world as our FAA certificate allows Rectrix full international operating rights.” The Cape’s Rectrix Aerodrome Center is part of a much larger aviation company which also has facilities in Bedford Massachusetts, Sarasota, Florida as well as its aircraft division.
In addition to serving its customers, Rectrix is a “good community-oriented neighbor.”

Although much of the Aerodrome’s is in a secured area, Geraci provided complimentary use of Rectrix’s meeting facilities to several Cape Cod non-profits, including Duffy Health Center and Cape Cod Young Professionals. For its annual May gala, Duffy is working with Geraci to transform a large hangar into a spectacular party room for more than 350 guests to benefit the homeless and those at risk on the Cape.

Rectrix also leases offices space in its facility to the FAA and to Cape Air / Nantucket Airlines.

Says Geraci: “It’s easy to become a Rectrix guest or make use of our facilities. Just give me a call; each and every Rectrix employee is here to serve you.”
