Classic Cars on Cape CodAdd to My Luxx Living
Classic car enthusiasts can enjoy many displays, events and get-togethers on the Cape.
Among the biggest of the year is Sunday, June 15, the 20th Annual Father’s Day Car Show down all of Main Street
Last year, about 60,000 people packed Main Street to enjoy hundreds of classic cars and food on the sidewalks and in the eateries from one end of the strip to the other. The day also includes music and crafts.
A typical year brings an estimated 350 vintage cars like the cherry red hot rod owned by Cliff Stalker of Harwich, a 1932 Ford three-window coupe.
The street is closed all day Sunday, and cars and other attractions show up at 6:30 for set up, with show cars parking at 7.
You want to give yourself plenty of time to find parking. It’s a creative exercise. You will want to spend at least half a day here, given the many eateries, music and crafts along the way.
